250 Games – Mitch Bright 💛🖤
This weekend, Mitch Bright reaches the outstanding milestone of 250 senior games for Rochester Football Netball Club.
For 16 seasons, Mitch has been a fixture in the yellow and black. A respected defender who keeps the backline organised and accountable, his uncompromising attack on the footy and fierce competitiveness have become trademarks of his game.
Week after week, teammates have known exactly what they'll get from Mitch: toughness, reliability and someone prepared to put his body on the line for the team. Whether it's spoiling a marking contest, winning a one-on-one battle or setting the standard with his attack on the contest, Mitch has always led through his actions.
Like many great Rochester footballers, Mitch's connection to the club runs deeper than the games he's played. Rochester Football Netball Club has been a huge part of his life, and these days it's a journey he shares with Emma and children Vali, Ruby and Reggie, who are regular faces around Tigerland.
With 250 senior games to his name, Mitch now takes his place alongside some of the great servants of the Rochester Football Netball Club. It's a milestone achieved by few, and one that reflects the commitment, toughness and loyalty he has shown throughout his 16 seasons in the yellow and black.
